If you're an Android user the time with Pixels has me thinking they're what I always wished someone would make for Android but if you're on the edge I say you'll love the dual cameras in the 7 Plus. I haven't tested with a true dunk but the phone's had splashes that have done earlier smart phones in. Other new features are frosting on the cake - battery life, outdoor screen brightness and water resistance. I would not say throw a good phone away but just the dual camera setup now has me thinking the phone is a worthy purchase. An app called Filmic or similar will give you super control over focus and exposure. Still, the phone is better than any basic or nice for the time camcorder we've owned.
One of my Canon bodies and lenses plus a shotgun mic will always beat it. Again, I'm not saying it replaces pro gear.

It basically turns the iPhone into a futuristic DSLR camera. I'm at a month with my unplanned phone replacement to iPhone 7 Plus. ProCam for iPhone is one of the most versatile iOS camera apps we have ever come across. I know we have a lot of photography buffs here.
