  • Overall, patch 1.4 delivers what Biomutant needed, and then some. This is now fixed, however, and it probably means that characters using 'magic' will now be much stronger than ever before. As a matter of fact, some players delving more into abilities like Biogenetics powers or Psi-Powers lamented that these could not crit, despite the Psi-Freak class coming with a Perk that increases critical chance with powers.

    Lastly, another big change for Biomutant came with abilities now being able to properly cause critical strikes.

    The patch also introduced the possibility for players to pick Perks from any other class when starting a new game plus experience, which makes Perks like Sharpshooter available to everyone, instead. This is huge, as it made the Dead-Eye too strong compared to all other ranged options, and probably even stronger than all builds in general, regardless of their specialization. What Sharpshooter did was to straight-up double the damage dealt by the Dead-Eye with two-handed guns, but now its multiplier has been reduced to 1.25, meaning that the increase in damage is not 100%.
